I wish they would state what they mean by affordable housing. Do they really mean what ever the prices people will be willing to pay and based on similar rents in the area. If so, that doesn't mean my definition for affordable housing. They will probably be way out of my budget given the sit…

I also encourage Representative O'Halleran not to forget my Sunnyside community needs as well. We don't have any of those fiber optic cables here for residents internet and communication connections. I'm stuck with much slower DSL internet and poor wireless telephone connections. We lag way…

Sad story is just going to get worse. Humans just don't seem to care about climate change brought on by global warming caused by the burning of fossil fuels needed to support the population bomb.

Boy, there is a lot to unpack here. Having retired from teaching for about 8 years now I still have some prospective on such certification, While teaching science for 19 years in Paradise Valley USD I remember hearing something about it back in the day. But, I always thought it was for just …

Sounds like just more talking points with no real solutions. While I think the shut down is terrible, especially for federal workers (I'm a retired Federal worker) a lot more is needed to stop illegal border crossings. I also think other ports of entry and visa overstays need attention. I su…

well, maybe the only way to get the point across is to close those areas to any snow play for a weekend. But I guess money talks and although the trash problem isn't going away I don't think those from the valley give a darn.

I think it is a great thing that NAU chose to develop an astronomy program. I only wish that they had done this 15 or so years ago while I was finishing my Masters Degree in astronomy at James Cook University (Australia) which I then could have transferred to NAU's PhD in Astrophysics. I com…

Great jobs guys! You are doing the work that is needed. Having said that it is my opinion that until and unless we humans get a handle on overpopulation this research will go to waste. No one wants to talk about birth rates and I think it needs to be addressed.
