After a loss at home on Friday night, Northern Arizona (6-6-2, 2-2-1 Big Sky) women's soccer bounced back with a 2-0 win over the University of Northern Colorado (5-9-3, 3-1-2 Big Sky).
Kayla Terhune led the Jacks in shots today, taking three. Following closely behind were Sam Larberg and Ana Rivera, both with two shots and one on-goal. Mei-Te Coco, Rylee Mitchell, Amanda Bennett, and Carly George all had one shot, one on-goal. Whitney Winans, Lexy Aguilar and Kylie Kapustka each recorded one single shot.
In the 18th minute, Ana Rivera scored her first goal of the season. Rivera stole the ball from a defender outside of the box and found an opening. From there, Rivera took a shot, sending the ball over the goalkeeper's head into the top-left corner.

Madison Montgomery recorded her team-high sixth goal in the 68th minute off of a penalty kick.
Taryn Benham made three saves to record her fifth shutout of the season. In the Big Sky, Northern Arizona is currently tied for second in shutouts.
Big Sky play for the Lumberjacks will continue this upcoming weekend with two away games at Idaho (3-10-2, 0-3-2 Big Sky) this Friday at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday against Eastern Washington (6-5-2, 3-0-1 Big Sky) at 12 p.m.
