Reaching the finals for the second straight day, Tatiana Kurach finished 16th on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Zone E Championships hosted by Northern Arizona.
Sitting outside the cutoff for another finals appearance after her first two dives of the day, Kurach came up with three dives to score 150 points. Moving from 22nd up to as high as 14th, Kurach landed in 16th with a score of 287.25 after the first six dives of the day.
The reigning WAC Diver of the Year for the Lumberjacks, Kurach sat in 18th through three dives in the finals before scoring 52.5 on her fourth and 60.0 on her fifth to bump her back to 16th to finish the day.
While Kurach finished in the top 18 for the second straight day, following her 16th-place finish in Monday's 1-meter preliminaries that improved to 12th in the finals, Christina Torrente just missed out on a finals appearance again.
Scoring 269.65, Torrente finished 22nd on the 3-meter after a 24th-place finish on Monday's 1-meter board. The WAC bronze medalist in the 1-meter and platform, Torrente ranked 13th after four dives, but a lower-than-average score on her fifth dive dropped her to 21st.
Raquel Gonzales finished 39th on the 3-meter board with a 236.35 to round out the trio of Lumberjacks competing on Tuesday.
Northern Arizona wraps up the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Wednesday with the platform. Gonzales earned the silver medal at the WAC Championships, and will begin her day along with Torrente at 11 a.m. in the Aquatics and Tennis Center.
