Kyle Lobstein pitched six-plus innings Sunday night to win his ninth game of the season for the Triple-A Toledo Mudhens.
Lobstein, a Coconino High alumnus, allowed just five hits, two runs and two walks while striking out seven in the 9-2 win over the Columbus Clippers in the International League. With two starts likely left, the left-hander is 9-11 with a 4.07 earned run average. The Mudhens complete play for the season on Aug. 31, with callups for some players to the parent Detroit Tigers on Sept. 1.
Lobstein is 52-48 in his six-year minor league career.
