It looks like we will survive yet another PBS pledge "week."
I support PBS and realize they have to raise money -- I am a "sustainer." But does anyone else get the feeling that pledge week programs are like infomercials?
There is a never-ending procession of second tier (to be generous) "experts" in diverse fields trying to get us to buy into their theories and beliefs, and sometimes buy into their publications and DVDs as well.

I wish there were a way to simply send PBS money and avoid the pain of pledge weeks. (The PBS Passport goes part way to this.)
