Re: Climate Strike in Flagstaff, the pictures have impact and are disturbing. Do these students really know what they are protesting? Are they students of the history of climate change, or are they weathermen? What research have they done, or is this a wonderful escape from school?
As for screaming at traffic in downtown Flagstaff, for shame. Is traffic in downtown not bad enough without screaming people disturbing the drivers' concentration? Signs of "die of old age" are also disturbing. When screaming, do the screamers know how old the drivers are? Perhaps one is old enough to be so distracted as to veer off the road and into a crowd. Do they think of that possibility?
I, for one, am not a fan of screaming protests. (Perhaps that is obvious.)

What about lead in Flagstaff water -- get the lead out should be the battle cry. Also, the city should be consulting with some of the very old-timers who did the installations and know where the pipes are the most dangerous. But getting the lead out also refers to many things... coming elections mean participation, so get the lead out and vote!
