This is the season of the year when students of all ages are anxiously waiting for a letter of admission to their university of choice. If you have high expectations, you may thinking of elite colleges, without realizing that there is an elite college within NAU that offers the very best of a demanding education, small classes, top faculty, mentoring, and internships, etc. I refer to the NAU Honors College, founded in 1957. It is the oldest Honors College in the state, and occupies its own brand new building on campus. Check it out.
Background: I served as Honors Director from 1994-1999 and created the Grand Canyon Semester, an extraordinary intensive semester in and around Grand Canyon. It remains a popular program open only to Honors College students.
