The National Weather Service forecasts a windy Wednesday, leading to some fire danger throughout parts of northern Arizona.

Flagstaff, Williams and Sedona are not included in Wednesday's Red Flag warning of high fire danger in northern Arizona. However, areas like the Grand Canyon Village, Tuba City, Holbook, and Snowflake will be included in the red flag warning tomorrow.

While Flagstaff can expect winds of up to 41 mph, with gusts anywhere from 45 to 50 mph, the air is not dry enough to warrant a red flag warning, according to the Weather Service meteorologists.

People should be aware of gusting cross-winds on parts of the Interstate 40 or Highway 89a. People should also avoid outdoor burning and secure any items outside of their house.
