Flagstaff Shelter Services, which provides emergency shelter and basic services to those in need, has raised $1,022 thus far in T-shirt sales to benefit the nonprofit organization's programs.

Officials said the group is more than halfway to its goal of selling 200 of the $25 shirts, inscribed with the words "Shelter Tonight, Housing Tomorrow" in the foreground and a house and mountain peaks behind it. There are 12 days left in the online fund-raising effort. Shirts will ship on July 31.
