A man survived being shot multiple times Thursday night in front of his home in what Flagstaff police are calling a targeted assault.

The altercation began after the victim parked his vehicle in front of his apartment complex at 2251 North Izabel in the Sunnyside neighborhood in Flagstaff, according to a media release from the Flagstaff Police Department.

A dark colored SUV with chrome door handles drove by the victim in his vehicle and stopped. The driver of the suspected vehicle shot multiple rounds at the victim striking the victim multiple times.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from the Flagstaff Medical Center.

The initial investigation indicates the victim and his car were targeted, and not a random incident.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with facial hair and he appeared to be the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The photographs are attached are of the suspect’s vehicle and police are asking for help identifying the suspect. The department should be reached at 928-774-1414 or silent witness at 928-774-6111.
