As work continues on the Southside neighborhood plan, the city announced staff would hold weekly office hours and another community meeting at which residents can make their voices heard on the plan.
On March 30, the city will hold public open house at which city staff will present on the plan. Members of the public in attendance will then be encouraged to present their own ideas on topics such as historic preservation and neighborhood character, business, cultural and public spaces, parking and transportation, growth and change, emergency preparedness and the creation of a vision statement.
Ideas presented during this open house, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 30 at the Murdoch Center, will then inform future discussions of neighborhood goals and policies, according to staff.

Come April, city staff will also begin hosting weekly office hours for members of the public to further discuss Southside community planning. These office hours, held at various businesses throughout the neighborhood, will be posted regularly on the project website at www.flagstaff.az.gov/southsideplan.
