The Flagstaff Police Department arrested more than 20 people across Flagstaff and Williams on Tuesday during drug busts, Flagstaff Police officials have confirmed.

Jail reports from the Coconino County Detention Facility suggest there were likely 21 arrests made in Flagstaff and Williams for warrants on drug-related charges. The investigation began locally and occurred across a few months, and likely resulted in additional arrests outside of Coconino County.

Charles Hernandez, spokesperson for the Flagstaff Police Department, could not give more details on what types of drugs were involved in the arrests.

The arrests occurred in neighborhoods like High Country Trail and Yaqui Drive near South Lake Mary Road, on multiple streets in Sunnyside, on North Highway 89 and Townsend Winona Road, multiple locations on Butler Avenue and on South Slagel Street in Williams.
