A man was stabbed in a Winona home on Wednesday evening, according to the Coconino County Sheriff's Department.
After drinking at a bar in east Flagstaff, three men returned to a Winona residence and continued to drink. During a verbal argument, David Slater, 61, from Anthem, allegedly stabbed one of the men.
Slater fled the residence, and the homeowner attempted to transfer the stabbed victim to the hospital.
Slater was arrested later in the evening for DUI-related charges and placed in the Coconino County Jail.
While driving the stabbed victim to the hospital, the driver crashed his silver dually truck into construction equipment on Interstate 17 and McConnell Drive in Flagstaff, causing front end damage to the truck.
