The National Weather Service says Flagstaff can expect warm and dry weather through the week, with winds picking up Thursday to near critical fire weather thresholds.

Highs will range between 5 and 8 degrees above normal before starting to cool off Friday and into the weekend.

Sunny, with a high near 71. Southwest wind 8 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight

Clear, with a low around 35. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday

Sunny, with a high near 75. Light south southwest wind becoming southwest 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Wednesday Night

Clear, with a low around 37. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light after midnight.

Thursday

Sunny, with a high near 73. Breezy, with a southwest wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.
