Eight men – seven from Flagstaff – have been arrested in an undercover sting operation aimed at underage prostitution.
The arrests came after the men allegedly made arrangements for specific sex acts that would be conducted with minors under the age of 16.
The sting operation involved police departments from Flagstaff and Prescott Valley, and the FBI.
According to information from Flagstaff Police, undercover officers fielded well over 100 calls and inquiries from would be suspects, with a large number declining upon learning the age of the “girls.” No minors were involved in the operation.
The goal of the investigation was to abate local child prostitution and prostitution in general that is organized through the Internet.
Arrested on March 9 on a charge of prostitution were:

-- Bradley Voigt, 34, Flagstaff;
-- Christopher Marchant, 27, Prescott Valley;
-- Alonzo Yazzie, 37, Flagstaff;
-- Andrew Mullen, 22, Flagstaff;
-- Isaias Pozos-Gomes, 34, Flagstaff;
-- Abel Villar, 33, Flagstaff.
