Flagstaff received trace amounts of snow flurries Christmas Day, with sunny conditions returning that afternoon. A storm, which was originally set to cross Flagstaff earlier in the week, will likely bring snow Thursday night.
Thursday’s daytime chance of snow was 50 percent and chances are set to increase to 60 percent Thursday night with 1-3 inches of accumulation possible. The low Thursday night is predicated to be 12 degrees.
According to the National Weather Service, Friday will see just a 20 percent chance of snow with a high of 26.
The next possibility of snowfall is slight, with Monday, Dec. 31 seeing a 10 percent chance of precipitation and a high near 36 degrees. New Year’s Day has the same 10 percent figure and a high of 37.
