Students at Sinagua Middle School got an impromptu break from AzMerit testing Friday morning when a bomb threat was called in to the school.

According to FUSD, the call came in around 8 a.m. to the front desk. The caller said, “There is a bomb in your school.” Students and staff were immediately evacuated to the football field.

Flagstaff police officers were called and searched the building. Nothing suspicious was found in the building and about an hour later the students were returned to their classrooms.
