Rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast for the Flagstaff area beginning tonight.
According to information from the National Weather Service station in Bellemont, low pressure over the eastern Pacific will bring the rain to the area. Showers and thunderstorms will develop tonight along with breezy conditions.
Showers and thunderstorms will peak Thursday during the day, with winds increasing to 23 to 26 mph and gusts as high as 38 mph. High temperature to reach about 55 degrees.
A 20 percent chance of rain will remain Thursday night, and sun is expected to return Friday along with temperatures in the 60s. Forecast highs should reach near 70 degrees by Sunday.
