Drugs found at Little Caesar’s
Flagstaff Police were called out to the Little Caesar’s on East Cedar Avenue after meth was found on the floor inside.
According to a police report, a customer handed a clerk at the store a baggie of white rocks that a man had dropped while waiting to pick up a pizza. The clerk called police, who confiscated the baggie. The rocks later tested positive for methamphetamine. Police are still looking for the suspects.
Drinking and drugs
On Feb. 22 around 12:44 p.m., a Flagstaff Police officer driving near the Conoco at 101 E. Butler noticed three men allegedly drinking from a container.
According to a police report, the officer approached the men and asked what they were drinking. One of the men tried to hide the container, but relinquished it to the officer. The officer found about a gulp of beer in the container and arrested the men for drinking in public. While the men were being taken into custody, one of them mentioned that he had drugs on him. Officers found two oxycodone pills and a gram marijuana on the man.
Daniel Theodore Glesmann, 59, James Trinnie Lapahie, Jr., 44, Burton L. Nicholas, Jr., 57, were all arrested on suspicion of narcotic drug possession, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription drug possession and consuming liquor in public.
Shoplifting and assault on an officer
While investigating a shoplifting incident at the Walmart on East Huntington Drive on Feb. 22 around 3:34 p.m., Flagstaff police officers were told of a possible shoplifting in progress.
According to a police report, store staff told officers that a man in a dark jacket had taken a bottle of beer and a can of beer and had also stolen the jacket he was wearing. When officers approached the man, he struggled with officers.
Kendrick Silas Morgan, 24, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, two charges of shoplifting and two counts of resisting arrest.
