Occupying the space that formerly housed Greek Islands, The Pizza Patio brings a slice of the Midwest and a slice of the East Coast to this mountain town. Its owner, Steven Grubart hails from Chicago and was determined to offer deep dish in Flagstaff. He did just that, and in addition to the iconic windy city pie, Pizza Patio customers can also find traditional New York style pizzas, and vegan-friendly options. On most days, The Pizza Patio doesn’t open until 4:00 p.m., but it stays open all night. The Pizza Patio is also northern Arizona’s first operating self-serve beer station. This restaurant stands up to its name: it does indeed have a patio, and a cozy one at that. The Pizza Patio opened this fall and can be found at 109 E. Phoenix Avenue.
