Wm Keith Spriggs – born April 9, 1937, Harrisonville, MO, deceased. After a long illness, he took his last flight on July 12, 2019 – E.T.A. “Heaven Bound”.
A Missouri farm boy, he married Nancy Elliott of Pleasant Hill, MO on July 17, 1955.
Keith always believed in repairing everything and wasting nothing and in keeping with that he donated his body to medical research. Memorial service will be at a future date.
He had many professions and was adept at them all. His first love was flying, next electronics. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of Epiphany, Civil Air Patrol, Search and Rescue and a HAM radio operator.
Keith had a deep instinct to help others; while in assisted living, unable to walk, he heard a man calling for help, walked 2 doors away, found a locked door and broke out a window to “help” the man calling out – his deep primal drive!
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 64 years, sons Phillip of Flagstaff and Jesse of Phoenix, daughters Cindy Penrod of Flagstaff, Kathleen Sanders of Oregon, Ginger West of Iowa, foster daughter Margaret Leadbetter of Oregon, 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
In his memory, he would have you learn something new every day, speak to your neighbors, help someone whether you know them or not, be thankful for those who help and care for us all and above all, keep your Faith – because God made us All.
It was a good Flight with just some intermittent turbulence.
Thank you to all who have helped me.
