A mudslide and fallen tree are slowing traffic along the Highway 89A South between Sedona and Flagstaff.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, traffic is delayed in both directions and motorists are being escorted between mileposts 378 and 380 as crews remove debris.

The slide is located north of the Dairy Queen restaurant.

Only one lane of traffic is currently open.

Heavy rain fell throughout the Flagstaff area on Friday.
