On Thursday, April 25 Flagstaff's Mountain Line buses will be free all day.

Sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), Mountain Line is joining other transit agencies around the country in celebrating the National Get on Board Day, which is meant to highlight the benefits of public transportation.

In addition to offering free service on Mountain Line and Mountain Lift, several other activities are planned throughout the day:

7-9 a.m.: at the Downtown Connection Center (Phoenix Ave. between Milton Rd. and Beaver St.): Mountain Line is conducting a reusable coffee mug giveaway (while supplies last) along with coffee from Single Speed Coffee Café. City of Flagstaff Mayor Coral Evans will present a Get on Board Day proclamation at 8:15 a.m.

4-6 p.m.: at Mother Road Brewing Company (7 S. Mikes Pike St.): Join Mountain Line staff for a meet and greet. Learn more about riding the bus and ask questions about Mountain Line’s future plans.
