A Kachina Village man is in jail on suspicion of second-degree murder after a fight Friday afternoon left one man dead.
The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said Collin Tarr, 28, was arrested after they found a man lying in the middle of Gambel Oak Trail. A caller had reported a fight in progress, but when deputies arrived, the victim was unresponsive and CPR efforts were unsuccessful.

Officials have not released the name of the victim. They say no other suspects are believed to be involved and Tarr is being in held in the Coconino County Detention Facility in lieu of $1 million bond.
