The red rocks of Sedona attract millions of visitors each year.

The Benefactors of Red Rock State Park, a nonprofit that supports environmental education in Sedona, is offering financial assistance during the 2019-2020 academic year to schools within the Flagstaff Unified School District boundaries.

The assistance will cover transportation costs and park entrance fees for schools to attend its classes at Red Rock State Park. Applications are open to both public and private schools.

This year, the organization has received a $4,000 grant from the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff and W.L. Gore & Associates and will be matching these funds to provide additional opportunities for area schools.
