Protest groups converge Tuesday in response to Flagstaff City Council discussions

I personally know two sons of retired FPD officers who joined the force here. They're both gone now: one to state, one to the valley. The reason they left home; low wages. If you want quality people (and both of these guys are), you need to pay them. Otherwise, you're hiring lesser candidates who are more likely to become loose cannons. Pay 'em, train, train, and train some more so they instinctively handle adverse situations properly, and major psych evals to root out the Rambo's.

There would have been a lot more people out supporting our police if not for the virus. As for black lives, I think all lives matter. If you look at the statistics across the Country you find that police have killed many more white people than black people.. I don't recall any protests for the white people killed. I wish the real numbers would be publicized, but I guess they don't fit the narrative!

Teachers have to buy their own chalk and beg parents to supply stuff the schools used to. Nurses have to wear garbage bags as makeshift PPE, reuse the same masks day after day but cops who already have body armor, decked out vehicles, riot control gear, etc. need even more money so they know to not act like children with guns.

SMDH how about the cops don’t spend 60% of their budget on surplus military gear and redirect that money to training? How about cops get 0 additional dollars and use the already excellent level of funding they have for “training” and maybe then if they can go 5 years without acting like children with guns then we think about giving them more of our money at that point?

On one side we have the police, military, patriots of all kind - on the other we have anarchist, socialists, communists, libtards of one party. I choose the first group.
