From drug busts to devil worship, here the top 10 most-read police logs of 2016:

1. Devil-worship confrontation: On June 13, Flagstaff police responded to a report that someone pretended to be a police officer during a confrontation with a costumed man he suspected of worshiping the devil at Bushmaster Park.

2. Home invasion: On April 23, Flagstaff police were looking for a man who broke into a couple's home in the 3000 block of North Zurich Street while they were sleeping inside.

3. Domestic violence: On Nov. 26, Flagstaff police arrested a man in the 1700 block of North Deer Crossing Road on suspicion of beating his girlfriend so badly that he broke his own hands doing it.

4. Teen girl assaulted: On June 18, Flagstaff police arrested a man on suspicion of grabbing a 14-year-old girl's buttocks in the 1200 block of East Ponderosa Parkway.

5. Sandwich shop assault: On April 6, a young woman was hospitalized after her boss hit her with a heavy object and choked her in the freezer at the Jimmy John’s sandwich shop located in the 300 block of South Regent Street in Flagstaff.

6. Marijuana arrest: On Nov. 17, Flagstaff police arrested a woman on drug charges near the intersection of East Franklin Avenue and South Lone Tree Road after finding more than 100 grams of marijuana in her car.

7. Drug arrest: On Aug. 16, Flagstaff police arrested a man on multiple drug charges during a traffic stop in the 2200 block of East Huntington Avenue after finding more than 100 grams of methamphetamine and more than 300 pills in his vehicle.

8. Drug bust traffic stop: On Feb. 2, Flagstaff police found more than 40 grams of methamphetamine, multiple individual-sized containers totaling about 3.5 grams of heroin, and other drugs and paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 2400 block of North West Street.

9. Animal cruelty: On Nov. 20, a woman found a small dog with its legs taped together just above the rising water level on the bank of the Rio de Flag in the 500 block of South Verde Street during a storm.

10. Deaf man killed by train: On Sept. 2, a man who could not hear was fatally struck by an eastbound train as it was crossing Fanning Drive in Flagstaff.
