The Page Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person.
Glendon Ray George, 38, was last seen on Mother’s Day, May 12, at “The Chains” swimming area at Lake Powell. His mother reported him missing a week later. Police found some of George’s clothes on the rock cliffs near the swimming area, but were unable to locate him during a search of the lake. A picture of George was later posted on his My Space account on May 30.
George is a Navajo male, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 160 pounds. He goes by the nickname “G-Ray.” He has a medium-light complexion, black hair and a tattoo of a star on his right arm. George may be wearing glasses or contacts. He also has a surgery scar on the back of his head and a second scar on the lower part of his right leg.
Page police have received several leads, including one from the Flagstaff area.
