A Keams Canyon man will spend more than two decades in prison for sexually abusing multiple children over the course of nearly 30 years.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona, U.S. District Judge John J. Tuchi sentenced Kenneth Parker to 23 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release Monday. Parker had previously pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual abuse of a minor.
The case involved multiple victims who reported being sexually abused between 1987 and 2015.
Parker and his victims were all Navajo Nation members and all the acts of sexual abuse occurred within the boundaries of the Navajo Nation, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The investigation was conducted by the FBI and the Navajo Nation Department of Law Enforcement.
