High Country Humane

A laughing dog and cat greet customers and rescues at the entrance to the High Country Humane animal shelter in Timberline.

High Country Humane is just a couple weeks away from celebrating its Grand Opening.

An official sponsor, OneAZ Credit Union is furthering its support of High Country Humane animal shelter with a pet food drive leading up to the shelter’s April 13 official celebration.

Dog and cat food donations will be accepted at both OneAZ Flagstaff branches now through April 12, with OneAZ matching donations pound-for-pound up to 1,000 pounds. The food will help stock High Country Humane’s food supply for its animals as well as its Pet Food Pantry, which provides free pet food to dogs and cats in low income families in Coconino County.

“We’re thrilled to contribute to High Country Humane’s mission and look forward to the community’s involvement. Together, we’ll ensure that families can provide nutritious meals to their pets so they are happy and healthy,” Miguel Maldonado, northern regional president for OneAZ Credit Union, said.
