Flagstaff International Relief Effort is hosting a volunteer trip in April to help rebuild Langtang Valley, Nepal. The valley was hit hard in an April 2015 earthquake. The trip will be led by professional Langtang and American guides. There are three different travel options at prices of $1,950-$2,550 (not including airfare).

Volunteer work will include: help care for elders with wood collection, washing, cooking, etc.; digging trenches to prepare for a system of tanks and taps that will bring water to the village of Langtang; digging through the debris of the landslide collecting items for the FIRE's Heritage Museum; building a year-round greenhouse; collecting trash.
