Nate Southerland, the new Provost at the Coconino Community College, Supervisor Art Babbott (and his daughter Lila) and Supervisor Lena Fowler stand with HCH board members at the ribbon cutting for High Country Humane last weekend.

The staff and Board of Directors of High Country Humane are deeply grateful for the tremendous love and support we received from the Flagstaff community at our grand opening celebration this past Saturday.

Over 400 people came and enjoyed a beautiful day, delicious food, wonderful music and, of course, lots of amazing dogs and cats looking for their forever homes.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers and businesses who gave their ALL to help us make this a very special celebration including: OneAZ Credit Union, the Pine Trio, the Nackard Companies, Purina, Archuleta Ice Cream, Route 66 Car Club, Coconino County Animal Control, City of Flagstaff Animal Control, Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, Arizona Public Service (APS)

Total Grand Rentals, students from Flagstaff High School, Boy Scout Troop 7142, A Girl & Her Balloons, Woodlands Walmart, Trail Gangs AZ, T-Tugs and all the terrific High Country Humane Shelter volunteers who worked so hard planning our Grand Opening and lending a hand at the event to ensure everyone had a wonderful time.
