Cheng appointed to Arizona Board of Education

Governor Doug Ducey appointed Northern Arizona University President Rita Cheng to the Arizona Board of Education, a move that was confirmed by the state legislature Thursday.

Cheng will represent the three university presidents on the board.

“I am honored to join the board as I am committed to ensuring all students have access to high quality educational opportunities,” Cheng said in a statement.
