Elvis has not left the building, at least not in Williams.

“Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine.”—Elvis Presley

If you’re reading this advertisement, you’re probably thinking it is time to make a career change, time to pursue that secret dream, time to slip on those blue-suede shoes and become an Elvis Impersonator.

But you say to yourself, “Self, how can I do it with my busy schedule?” “What about the cost?” “What if I’m allergic to lamé?” And, of course, “Where should I go to earn a degree?”

At the University of Elvis, we offer day, evening, weekend, and online classes at 43 convenient locations — all designed for busy working professionals. As the nation’s leading Elvis university, we offer relevant and respected undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of the Physics of Elvis, Elvis and Military Affairs, the Art of Elvis and more!

A recently released report from the Census Bureau came out with some chilling statistics. According to the data, average lifetime earnings for an Elvis impersonator with a high school education working full-time, year-round within a hundred mile radius of the Tropicana Hotel, will earn approximately $1.2 million ($1 million for those who fail to earn a high school diploma).

Compare that to $2.1 million for an impersonator with a four-year college degree and you start to see the advantage of an education. The figure is highest for full-time, year-round Elvis impersonators working on or near Las Vegas Boulevard with lifetime earnings reaching an average of $4.4 million.

More education means more money. Add to this the fact that economic downturns tend to hit lower-income, fat-Elvis impersonators hardest. The lower-paying jobs are typically cut at a faster rate than young-Elvis impersonators.

Here’s a testimonial from a recent University of Elvis graduate. Tic Orb graduated in 2017 from the University of Elvis with a Master of Elvis in Fashion Design.

“Most of my time up until now has been in animal husbandry; as glamorous as that was, I knew there was something missing from my life. I knew I wanted more,” says Orb, who sheared sheep for 14 years prior to enrolling in the University of Elvis online baccalaureate program. “The University of Elvis gave me the chance to develop the skills necessary to succeed as an Elvis impersonator. Now I’m working Bar Mitzvahs and corporate functions, and the phone won’t stop ringing.”

The University of Elvis has been providing educational opportunities to the Elvis impersonator industry for over 20 years. The school was founded to meet the increasing demand for authentic Elvis impersonators. The result has been a unique learning experience that has allowed working impersonators to develop both effective and cognitive skills through intense and concentrated liberal arts courses such as “The History of Elvis—the Memphis Years” and science courses such as “The Pelvis of Elvis.”
