Enter the world of watercolor with local instructor
On Saturday, Nov. 9 from 12-13 p.m. join other members of the community at the HeArt Box gallery for a watercolor workshop with Elaine Dillingham.
This workshop takes place in a friendly, small group setting with step-by-step instruction and room for your personal creativity. Dillingham will teach participants the ins and outs of painting autumn vegetables. Painters of all levels are welcome, including absolute beginners.

Cost per person is $60 and includes all materials: Watercolor paper and two 8x10 sheets of professional grade and practice paper, each of which will be yours to keep. Paints, brushes and palettes are also included.
The day's session will focus on how pigments mix and mingle, how to use complimentary colors, paint wet-in-wet for soft edges and more.

Alpine Community Theater presents 'Frozen'
Alpine Community Theater (ACT) invites you to join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven on this amazing adventure! This show is fun for all ages. Audiences will enjoy the show as a cast of 70 young people, ages 5 to 18, present Disney's "Frozen." The famed 2013 animated feature was a splash in American box offices and is now on its way to Flagstaff in real life.
When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, Anna joins forces with Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find her sister Elsa, and break her icy spell. Their journey leads them to encounters with mystical trolls, a comedic snowman named Olaf, harsh conditions and magic at every turn. Anna and Kristoff bravely push onward in a race to save their kingdom from winter's cold grip.
Performances are at Sinagua Middle School on Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 9 as well as Nov. 15 and 16. Matinees will be held on Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 16. Doors open one hour before showtime. Ticket prices are $5 for children ages 5 to 18, Veterans, first Responders and ages 55 and up. Adults are $10.
