Kite Fest

A section of the Flagstaff Urban Trail System by Foxglenn Park will be closed on most weekdays for about six weeks starting April 15.

The closures are the result of a project to replace the concrete walkways that loop around the grass fields at Foxglenn Park.

According to a media release, the city Parks and Recreation Department’s replacement project will start at the north eastern corner of the fields and alternate sides of the loop, one section at a time.

As a result, the sections of the urban trail that connect to the walkway will be closed Monday through Thursdays, reopening each Friday for weekend recreation.
