Flagstaff has a new planning director, Tiffany Antol, who has held the position in an interim capacity for the past year, according to a media release.
“Tiffany has been a strong leader during all of the transitions in Community Development, guiding the Planning and Development Services section during times of much growth and community change,” said Community Development Director Dan Folke. “Throughout all these challenges, she has maintained a positive and healthy outlook that is contagious. I am very happy to have Tiffany as a member of the Community Development leadership team.”
Antol has worked for the city since 2013 and as the city's planning manager since 2017. She has more than 20 years working in planning and the public sector, most of that in northern Arizona.

Previously, Antol worked for the City of Prescott, and then with Coconino County, advancing to the position of principal planner.
Antol holds a bachelor's degree in geography and urban studies form San Francisco State University and a master's degree in planning from the University of Arizona.
“I am honored to lead the Planning and Development Services team, which consists of individuals who are smart, talented, hardworking and kind. I believe that this high-functioning team deserves a leader who encourages their efforts to make the City of Flagstaff a great place to live, work and visit,” Antol said.
