Portions of Flagstaff lost power Sunday night due to a hardware failure, according to Arizona Public Service.

Power has since been restored but lasted for over seven hours from Sunday night to Monday morning. The outage affected 384 households and was caused when a switching cabinet malfunctioned, said APS spokesperson Alan Bunnell

Homes were affected in two areas of the city: the area between Huntington Drive and East Monroe Street and the area between Interstate 40 and Fox Hill Road, Bunnell said.
