Coconino County Districts 1, 2 and 3 are seeking representatives for the Commission on Trial Court Appointments until April 30. District 4 and 5 will be seeking applicants after developing their nominating committees.

Applicants must have lived in Arizona for at least five years and in their district for at least one year. Interested persons cannot be a judge, retired judge, Arizona attorney, or hold any governmental office, elective or appointive for profit. Other governmental employees can apply.

Members of the Commission on Trial Court Appointments provide a list of qualified attorneys to the Governor when vacancies occur in the Coconino County Superior Court. Commission applications will be forwarded to the Governor and confirmed by the Arizona Senate.

Interested applicants should send a letter and resume to the following individuals.

Please label applications “ATTN: Commission on Trial Court Appointments Nominating Committee.”
