SAN FRANCISCO DE ASIS CATHOLIC PARISH: Life Teen (high school youth group) and Edge (middle school youth group) still have many activities planned for the rest of the summer! Please contact the church office for a schedule. Interested in Becoming Catholic? Our casual inquiry sessions will be held throughout the summer. PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH: '50s Night fundraiser. Dress up in your best '50s duds and come today at 5 p.m. for a light dinner fundraiser for a college student who lost all belongings in the Iowa floods. EPIPHANY CHURCH: Afghanistan-bound Drs. Scott and Kathy Deasy will leave soon for a 1-year OB/GYN physician training program in Afghanistan. FEDERATED COMMUNITY CHURCH: The summer blood drive is this week! United Blood Services personnel will be on hand to take your contribution all morning and into the early afternoon Sunday. CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION: Join us at 1 p.m. today at 2819 N. Fremont Blvd. to do some neighborhood canvassing. On Sunday, Pastor Bob Norton is teaching a baptism class from 2 - 3:30 p.m. at his home in Cheshire (2819 N. Fremont Blvd.). TRINITY HEIGHTS: On Aug. 20 come for the senior potluck, featuring a program by Stacey Wittig and her pilgrimage in Santiago, Spain. A new disciple Bible study begins at 6 p.m. that evening. Youth groups begin fall programs Aug. 21 (junior high at 6 p.m. and senior high at 7 p.m.). On Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. "7x7 Prayer" begins.
