Christ's Church of Flagstaff: The message will be "From Shepherd to King" from "The Story" series.

Epiphany Episcopal Church: The Rev. Jan James will speak on "The Gift of Trusting God." Fourth Sunday after Pentecost. Adult Forum "Lives of Great Christians: Paul & Early Missionaries. "

Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church of Flagstaff: Readers Vespers will be celebrated Saturday. The message Sunday will be "Nativity of the Forerunner John the Baptist" Divine Liturgy. Rev. Fr Suciu will celebrate Matins and Divine Liturgy. Sermon: "Panagiotis New Martyr."

San Francisco de Asis Catholic Parish: Fr. Pat, Fr. Victor, and Fr. Matt will speak on "Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist." They will preach the Gospel of Luke 1:57-66, 80.

Crossroad Community Church: Deacon Mike Davis will speak on "Faith." Text: Hebrews 11. Sara Mauro will lead us in worship. Live music. Sunday school and nursery provided.

Center for Spiritual Living Flagstaff: The speaker will be The Rev. Dr. Bob Henderson.

Flagstaff Christian Fellowship: Steve Cole will speak on "Generous and Hospitable" from Romans 12:13.

Calvary Bible Church: Pastor John Summers will speak on "Agriculture 101." Sermon text is John 4:27-42. No evening service this week.

Living Christ Lutheran Church: The Rev. Robert L. Linder will speak on "Remembering John the Baptist." He will discuss in Luke 1:57-67 the birth of John, a prophecy. Stay after worship for refreshments and fellowship.

Peace Lutheran Church: Pastor Warren Ueckert will speak on "Questioning God?" Text: Job 38. Refreshments, adult study and special "Sonshine" children's Sunday School between services.

Unity of Flagstaff: The Rev. Penni Honey will speak on "Enough about that -- Let's talk about me!" Meditation and children's program included.

Mountain View Church: Pastor Mike Irwin continues the "Reality Check" series with "What No to Wear" from Galatians 6.

Federated Community Church: The Rev. Craig Michel will again be the pulpit guest, sharing the message, "Living Faithfully Between Coupon Suzie and the Queen of Clean," based on Mark 10:17-31, the story of The Rich Man.

Shepherd of the Hills ELCA: Pastor Susan Swanson will speak on "When the Storms of Life are Raging." Celebration and classic worship services Sunday. Spoken word service Saturday. Holy Communion at all. Refreshments and fellowship after the Celebration Sunday service. (See VBS announcement.)

Church of the Resurrection: The message will be "Let God Love You." Pastor Bob Norton will be preaching from John 3:16. "Friend Day," bring a friend.

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church: Pastor Jonathan Stern will speak on "iPray ... in God's Name!" Sermon series No. 2 on the Lord's Prayer continues. Baptism: Aaron Liam Paris. Lord's Supper celebrated. Refreshments served after the service. Congregational meeting; all members needed.

Apostolic Faith Ministries: The Rev. Peterson of Indianapolis will speak on "Ministering in Music and Song."

First Congregational Church: The Rev. Bob Carlson is the pulpit guest for Sunday. His message is "Checking Our Valuables" based on 1Peter 1:1-9. Nursery care for children is available. A time for fellowship after worship.
