He graduated from Coconino High School in 2016, where he was the Battalion Commander of the JROTC. On a visit home, Jackson reconnected with Mackenzie Saurer, a long-time family friend. They were married on December 22nd, 2018 at the Canyon Chapel church in Flagstaff. Shortly after their wedding, Jackson traveled to Charleston, South Carolina to attend the FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center) to further prepare for his career. After graduating in 2019, Jackson moved to Silverdale, Washington to start his dream career as a Maritime Enforcement Specialist, 3rd class. Mackenzie joined him in their new home in May of 2019.
Jackson had a passion for many things including Star Wars, hockey, Lake Powell, his dog Samantha, and his friends and family. He lived everyday doing what he loved, with the people that he loved, always with a smile on his face. Everyone who met him, no matter how small of an interaction, will always remember him as a loving son, brother, husband, and friend.
