Tuesday evenings on the Root Public house rooftop are anything but ordinary. Tuesday evening are for Juniper House, a weekly convergence where writers of all kinds--poets, novelists, essayists and list makers--can share their work with similarly inclined minds. Anyone and everyone can read and share their work. And by anyone, they mean it, and on Tuesday, Flagstaff mayor Coral Evans made an appearance at the weekly literarly reading series where she read poetry selections from her book, "A Conversation with Alma."
In this episode of The Word, Flag Live! recorded, in full, her performance.
Because of the tight space in which the reading was held, you'll hear additional voices, snapping, clapping and talking--but that's all part of the Juniper House experience.
