The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Flagstaff premiere of “Here and Now” on Wednesday, Nov. 14 as part of the festival’s monthly Flagstaff Cinema Series. There will be one screening of the film at 7:00 p.m. at Harkins Flagstaff 16 Theatres.
“Here and Now” features a stellar, award-winning ensemble cast, including: Sarah Jessica Parker, Simon Baker, Common, Taylor Kinney, Waleed Zuaiter, with Jacqueline Bisset and Renée Zellweger
Vivienne (Sarah Jessica Parker), is an established singer with a successful music career. On the eve of a major performance, Vivienne receives some life-altering news that causes her to reevaluate her priorities.
As she crisscrosses the busy streets of New York City, she tries to balance her upcoming music tour, family and friends.
Through time spent with her overbearing mother, Jeanne (Bisset), her long-time manager, Ben (Common), and her ex-husband, Nick (Baker), Vivienne strives to make peace with the decisions and sacrifices she’s made along the way.
A representative from the NAU Philosophy Department and Philosophy in the Public Interest will lead a discussion following the film screening.
“Here and Now” will be shown at Harkins Flagstaff 16 Theatres on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members ($8 for full-time students), and will be available starting at 6:00 p.m. that day in the Harkins lobby.
