Osaka-based sculptor Yasuaki Onishi gives life to emptiness in his exhibit, Hidden Landscapes: Yasuaki Onishi, at the Coconino Center for the Arts. Hidden Landscapes features three site-specific installations that explore space and, as Onishi once told an interviewer, sculpt emptiness.

A members preview for Hidden Landscapes opens on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Coconino Center for the Arts, 2300 N. Fort Valley Rd. The exhibit will be open to the public on Sept. 18, with an opening reception on Sept. 22 from 6-8 p.m.
