A year-long exploration of meditation practices from around the world and throughout history, presented in a contemporary formulation that anyone can master.

Shinzen Young's Unified Mindfulness is a comprehensive system of meditation that collects and connects all the major contemplative practices from around the world and throughout history and presents them in a contemporary western science-based structure. In this year-long series, we will follow the Unified Mindfulness structure in learning about the origins of each technique, while also receiving instruction and experience in every practice. Throughout the year you will discover new meditation styles and new ways of approaching what you already know. Integrate what works into your own life, and deepen your practice as you broaden your understanding of the similarities, differences, and common ground of contemplative practices from different times and cultures.
