Ribbons of Hope and Prayer for Lent

All are invited to write the names of those they love -- and personal messages -- on one of the strips of purple or lavender ribbon, available in boxes next to the fence, and tie them to the fence on Beaver or on Elm St. In an effort to create a statement of remembrance, hope and healing, the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany is offering a space to say our hopes and feelings in messages, prayers, gratitude, and tributes to both the living and the dead.

Our hope is that this meditation, and the public space in which they will remain throughout the 40 days of Lent, will create a physical statement about Flagstaff as a community -- our contradictions, our conflicts, and our possibilities.
