Blood supplies coast-to-coast are dangerously low due to a severe dip in donations leading up to and following the July 4th holiday, prompting a coordinated nationwide call for donors of blood of all types.

Blood donors help people like Kellie, who was just 10 years old when she was diagnosed with leukemia not once, but twice. Kellie experienced symptoms while on a weekend camping trip in Show Low and was air-lifted to the hospital, where immediate blood transfusions sustained her life. Today Kellie is a healthy college st udent thanks to 131 blood donors.

**ALL donors entered into our Summer Drawing for a chance to win a 2017 VW Passat R-Line... high school students 16-19, have an extra opportunity for the car!**

**Donors will also receive a voucher for free ad mission to the Coconino County Fair on Labor Day weekend!**
