NAU's Ethnic Studies, Sun Entertainment, and the NAU President's office presets the annual Ted Johnson Lecture on February 1st 2020, 7pm at Prochnow Auditorium. This year's speaker is NPR Correspondent Michel Martin. Martin is the weekend host of All Things Considered and has more that 25 years as a journalist contributing to ABC News, Nightline, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and NOW with Bill Moyers. The Lecture will focus on today's political terrain running up to the national 2020 elections. 

The Ted Johnson Lecture series is in honor of the university's first Black faculty member. Professor Ted Johnson Joined the NAU faculty in 1969, teaching composition, literature and black and multicultural literature.

The Annual lecture is free and open to the public and funded through generous grants by Booker and T Evens and NAU Alumni.  Tickets are free and available in advance at NAU.EDU/CTO
