IML now accepting applications
French manufacturing company North America IML Containers, which is expected to open a 40,000-square-foot facility in west Flagstaff this summer, has begun accepting applications.
Locals with manufacturing or production experience are being asked to contact manager Jonathan Lepage by sending an e-mail to JLepage@iml.ca.
The company expects to hire a total of 40 people this summer, with wages ranging from $16 to $18 per hour.
The manufacturer of ice cream, butter, cheese and other food containers will start hiring employees soon and will continue to add employees as the heavy manufacturing equipment comes in and production begins to ramp up.
JPMorgan Chase donates $25K to after-school program
JPMorgan Chase has recently announced it has donated $25,000 to the newly formed Boys and Girls Club of Flagstaff.
Located inside the existing Cogdill Recreational facility, the 8,750 square-foot facility is expected to undergo minor renovations and include an art room, computer lab, tutoring room, gym and outdoor playground before it re-opens in July.
The donation is the first major corporate contribution to be received by the Boys and Girls Club.
